The Epic X collection embodies the radical design approach of Jacob & Co. Shifting from tradition, Jacob & Co. reinvented a classic with Epic X Skeleton in 2016. This reinvention revolves around a powerful shape : the X-shape. Expanding the seminal X concept, Epic X Sport ventures into new territory. The 41-mm case opens a new chapter in the collection's history. It's full dial widens its appeal. The diamond pattern on its surface is a powerful hint at Jacob & Co.'s dual nature, being a high watchmaking and high jewelry brand. Easy to wear on a daily basis, ergonomic and executed in a large number of liveries, Epic X Sport is the ultimate versatile Jacob & Co. timepiece.

From a creative concept to design inspiration. To the first stroke of a pencil through hundreds of iterations. A timepiece like no other comes to life. Epic X Sport expands on the original X concept with extreme versatility.

Caliber JCHA01 is the first in the history of Jacob & Co. to be systematically certified as a chronometer by the COSC, Switzerland's independent certification body. Each movement undergoes a series of tests, under various conditions of position, winding and temperature. As it passes the COSC's narrow criteria, it becomes a chronometer, the technical term for a highly accurate movement.

Epic X Sport is ruled by design and so is caliber JCAM45. Functionally, it is an hour and minute movement. In spirit, its skeleton structure follows the X rule. It is light, technical and revolves entirely around its shape.

Epic X Sport is the sportiest iteration in the Epic X collection. It relies on the classic display of hours, minutes and seconds in the center, the one every watch connoisseur is most familiar with. At 3 o'clock lies the date window.

THE 70-HOUR POWER RESERVE

Thanks to its lean design and building up on decades of watchmaking progress, caliber JCHA01 offers a weekend-proof autonomy. Automatically wound by the wearer's wrist movements thanks to a Jacob & Co.-designed rotor, it can be worn on a daily basis, put aside for almost three days and come back to the wrist, still on time.
