The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone collection is a tribute to the watch that started it all. The watch that opened the world of watchmaking to Jacob Arabo. It's inspired by a vintage timepiece that's an Arabov family heirloom : a double time zone watch that Jacob Arabo received at the age of 13, from the hands of his father, Nison Arabov. There is always an intimate component in a Jacob & Co. creation. For Jacob Arabo, design is rooted in passion. What he does, he does wholeheartedly. The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Tourbillon is part of the most authentic creation he ever undertook. It comes from the heart.

From a creative concept to design inspiration. To the first stroke of a pencil through hundreds of iterations. A timepiece like no other comes to life. The World is Yours combines emotion and horological complication.

The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Tourbillon takes after the original Wakmann double time zone Jacob Arabo received from his father. Like its inspiration, it features a double, independent timezone, shown on two sub-dials set separately. Each one shows a different hour and a different minute, allowing to keep up with any timezones, including India's, set at UTC + 4:30. Caliber JCAA45 is an entirely new creation, designed specifically for The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Tourbillon. To the original, defining dual time zone complication, it adds a central 30-second tourbillon. Its upper bridge is made of sapphire and the ensemble is topped by the compass rose that's an integral part of the collection. What's more, and for the first time in the history of Jacob & Co. movements, this caliber is wound automatically by an off-centered micro-rotor. This special architecture dramatically reduces height, and allows for a 65-hour power reserve.

THE 30-SECOND CENTRAL TOURBILLON

The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Tourbillon's central tourbillon revolves at twice the traditional speed, once every 30 seconds. This acceleration is a guideline of Jacob & Co.'s high watchmaking, applied throughout the brand's creations. The tourbillon carriage appears to float as its carriage bridge is made of transparent sapphire, leaving the entire space to that other signature detail of the collection, the compass rose

THE TWO INDEPENDENT TIME ZONES

The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Tourbillon indicates two time zones, complete with hours and minutes. Each one zone can be set down to the minute. It is the only way countries with unusual UTC time offsets, like India, can display both local time and home time accurately. The crown located on the right side of the case has three positions. Winding, time setting for the lower time zone, time setting for the upper time zone. It's up to the wearer to choose which one is local time.

THE DOME DESIGN

The World Is Yours collection is inspired by the world and the way it looks. Its design emulates the shape of our planet. The case is rounded, the dial is an ample curve and the sapphire crystal that tops it all is an even wider curve. As a whole, The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Tourbillon celebrates the third dimension of space.

THE 3D DIAL

The World Is Yours houses a fine craft dial. Its surface is widely curved, requiring the hands to be tilted. It's stamped with a sky view of the western hemisphere. Seas are metallic blue with highly detailed continents.

THE CASEBACK MAP

The World Is Yours' dial only represents half the world. Its caseback offers a wider, more general view. A large and detailed map is represented with a metallization on blue sapphire crystal. Executed with an advanced technology, it completes the global representation.
