CASINO TOURBILLON

Following in the footsteps of Astronomia Casino, Casino Tourbillon's design is inspired by the refined state of mind of heyday casinos. It's a nod to the elegant gamblers and socialites that populated 1960's Monte Carlo, Macao or Las Vegas. Casino Tourbillon is a sophisticated timepiece, and as such, it does not overstate its sophistication : its flying tourbillon is visible only from the caseback. A wide caseband, a domed sapphire crystal and the signature crown-less design make it a smooth and elaborate timepiece. Inside, the central dial is cut from a slab of solid black onyx. Its absolutely black, glistening surface is fitted with kite-cut hour markers, enhancing its Black Tie appearance. Like an island, this onyx dial is elevated and surrounded by Casino Tourbillon's namesake complication : a fully functional game of roulette. The dial base is a series of 37 pockets, numbered 1 to 36 in black and red lacquer, and the famed green zero.

Caliber JCAM51 boasts a full three-day power reserve and a flying tourbillon located at 6 o'clock on the caseback. For the first time in Jacob & Co.'s history, a timepiece fitted with a tourbillon does not display it dial-side. It forms a perfect triangle with the bows acting as invisible crowns. The roulette table itself is as large as the case allows. Its wheel-head spins fast, freely and for an impressively long time. The white ball bounces long and randomly enough to make Casino Tourbillon a true portable game of chance.

Caliber JCAM51 is one-of-a-kind. There is no other mechanical movement delivering a roulette table experience such as this one. With its design details, the high-performance flying tourbillon is turned into an element of that roulette.
