In 2017, Jacob & Co. created a new ladies' collection that looked like no other. Round, without lugs, with a strap directly attached to the case, Brilliant was designed to be versatile, precious and to embrace the entire range of gems Jacob & Co. loves. Brilliant Watch Pendant is a precious and unique interpretation : it can be worn both as a pendant, a pocket watch or a desk clock. Around a slender neck, the unique curves of Brilliant take on a new meaning and access a new level of grace.
The lug-less case of Brilliant harmoniously and naturally lends itself to the pendant format. All it requires is for no strap to be attached to it. Instead, Jacob & Co. has designed a dedicated bow surrounding the crown. It serves as a multi-purpose attachment from which Brilliant Watch Pendant gracefully hangs. Adding to the lavish use of white diamonds on the case, the mineral crystal is offered in transparent, red, blue or even green.
This chain can just as easily be used, or even removed, to make Brilliant Watch Pendant a pocket watch. Taking Brilliant Watch Pendant to exceptional levels of versatility, a ring on the caseback opens and operates as a stand. Brilliant Watch Pendant can then be set on a table, like a small clock, like a desirable piece of home jewelry.

The rounded case of Brilliant Watch Pendant is a three-dimensional creation. Shaped like a pebble, it possesses a great ergonomy and offers the best canvas for the kind of creativity Jacob & Co. is famous for. The rounded edges of the case provide Brilliant with its namesake property : brilliance.
The assertive bow surrounds the crown, serving as an attachment to the gold chain Jacob & Co. created especially for Brilliant Watch Pendant. The caseback rests on a hinge that allows it to open. It was a special and unique development process for Jacob & Co. to create such a versatile construction. And of course, all its case parts must lend themselves to gem-setting.
Brilliant Watch Pendant's inner ring, crown and even entire case are available with various levels of pavé-setting. Achieving such an impeccable result requires an extensive development process. It starts at the selection of gems, goes on with their cutting, and ends in the setting itself. At each one of those steps, Jacob & Co.'s expertise is mobilized at its finest. For Jacob & Co., work is at its best when the work doesn't show.

Caliber JCAM01 is the ideal movement for Brilliant Watch Pendant. It offers maximum transparency thanks to its skeletonized form. All the components that should be full are hollowed out. The structure becomes the shape and a means of aesthetic expression.

THE PAVÉ SETTING
Brilliant Watch Pendant showcases Jacob & Co.'s gem-setting skills. Setting gold is a classic technique Jacob & Co. perfectly masters. White and brilliant-cut diamonds are set into the precious metal. They can cover the case, crown and bezel in an extensive act of artistic gem-setting.

THE SKELETON MOVEMENT
Caliber JCAM01 uses shapes and finishings to express the femininity in Brilliant Watch Pendant. Curves, elegant lines, symmetrical design, even the Jacob & Co. logo has become a part of the watchmaking expression. Whether they're revealed by a transparent crystal or shrouded in mystery by a colored one is entirely up to the ultimate wearer.
