THE COMPLICATIONS & FEATURES
IofII
THE TOURBILLON
Gravity naturally has a negative impact on a movement's accuracy. By putting its escapement into a constant spin, the tourbillon counteracts this natural defect. In the process, it becomes a rotating, fascinating and prestigious creation, a manifestation of expertise and craft, designed for chronometry.

THE GEM-SET MOVEMENT
Setting the bridges of a movement with gems is a highly delicate task. The setting process applies force on the movement pieces, which can lead to bending them. Yet they need to stay as perfectly shaped as they would be without diamonds. This operation requires the kind of expertise and skill Jacob & Co. has been accumulating for years.
