Jacob & Co. exclusively selected the baguette cut. In order to recreate the smoothest surface, Jacob & Co. only works with the invisible setting technique. No prongs, no metal appears that would break the continuous array of gems.

Brilliant Tourbillon Art Deco is a work of both high jewelry and high watchmaking. It requires a movement that's as exclusive as its appearance. Caliber JCAM05 has been developed to give Brilliant Tourbillon Art Deco this dual nature. The tourbillon movement is a skeleton designed along strictly horizontal lines. These elegant beams are entirely set with gems matching the case. It is one of a small handful of timepieces available today with such features. The rounded case of Brilliant Tourbillon Art Deco is a three-dimensional creation. Caliber JCAM05 is a hand-wound, hour and minute movement regulated by a one-minute tourbillon. The movement's bridges on the dial side are entirely pavé-set with gems matching the case. Setting components as critical, thin and narrow as skeleton bridges is a technical achievement only the most skilled gem-setters can achieve.
